Celebrate Acupuncture Oriental Medicine Day at A.T.O.M.
October 24th is Acupuncture Oriental Medicine (AOM) Day. In an effort to increase awareness of the benefits of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine’s (ATOM) Intern Clinic is offering free Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., daily. New patient treatments cost $20 (50 percent savings) and current ATOM patients receive $10 off their next visit (valid 10/24-11/17/18, herbs not included).
Acupuncture is based on the movement of Qi. Qi is the life-giving energy that circulates throughout the entire body and enables it to function properly.
Although well known in the U.S. for treating pain, acupuncture is effective for a wide variety of problems, including neurological and musculoskeletal disorders: Headaches, migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia, back, neck and shoulder pain. Respiratory disorders: Asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, cold and flu. Stomach and intestinal disorders: Acid reflux, heartburn, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome. Gynecological disorders: Infertility, menopause, PMS. Dermatological disorders: Acne, eczema, shingles.
The above is a representation of some of the health issues that can be addressed. Discover firsthand how acupuncture and Oriental Medicine can help improve your health and quality of life.
