We’ve been hearing all about the virus, the disease, the panic and the pandemic – non-stop, 24/7. Yes, it’s here and it is imperative that we adhere to guidelines and precautions, but how about while bearing in mind that it’s out there somewhere, instead of dwelling nonstop on fear, disease and ill-health, we try to even slightly shift the focus to faith, healing, wellness, rejuvenation and vitality, not just for us humans but for Mother Earth as well, by thinking life-giving thoughts and shifting to a higher vibrational frequency. This can be gradually achieved in several ways, starting with small steps:

  • Physically – Walk, ride, run, jog, stretch–just get moving, some way, somehow, preferably outdoors; if that’s not feasible, then do what you can indoors.
  • Mentally – Begin to learn how to deep breathe, slow the pace down and relax, despite all that’s going on, and just sit in silence for at least 20 minutes each day and imagine you are living in a serene, harmonious, abundant, loving environment.
  •  Emotionally – Try music … tune in to enjoyable, mood-boosting music whenever you feel like the vibe is getting low. Despite one’s state of mind, whenever you hear music that resonates well, it soothes. The potential of sound vibrations to bring relief and healing is still a well-kept secret. So, it’s okay to tune in and zone out sometimes as it can take you uplifted places…
  • Finally, watch your thoughts and choose to think of good, pleasant, uplifting things/people as often as you can because, as the good book advises, “ … whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report … think on these things.”
